Another great book by Meghan Quinn. I love all the characters in this world and especially loved that we got more Keiko in it!!!

Pike can Put Me in Detention any time. This book had moments of fun, moments of joy and moments of straight up pain. Meghan always does such a good job of balancing out the fun and sometimes silly moments in her books with poignant moments that make your heart ache. Pike and Cora are so well matched and without going into any spoilers their backstories make me want to hug them both. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and I’m really hoping that we might get some books about Pike’s family in future books, I’m already rooting for Killian!

Cora is in Las Vegas with her friends, celebrating her divorce when she runs into the enigmatic, Pike.  She has ogled him from afar for almost a year and, after several drinks, she has the courage to interact with him.  One thing leads to another and before she knows it, she and Pike are married and he is moving into her apartment.  A quick annulment will take care of her of her humiliation, but Pike has other ideas, so she must come up with a scheme to get him out of her home.  Cora settles on the notion of making Pike's life as miserable as possible, but he seems to take it all in stride.  She realizes she will have to up her game if she is going to get rid of Pike before makes her fall for him.

Put Me in Detention is the third book in this series about a group of teachers from one school and their romantic escapades.  This enjoyable romance is funny and emotional with likable characters and a well developed plot.  Many tropes are explored in this story including marriage of convenience, drunken Las Vegas wedding, and care giving, among others.  While a secret kept by a protagonist at the beginning of the story is frustrating, it is clear that without that secret, there would be no story, making it a little easier to accept as part of the plot.  Overall, Put Me in Detention is a quick, entertaining book with several amusing moments and lively characters.

I love every second of it until I reached 70% of the story. Someone needs to teach this man the art of groveling because he doesn't know how to do the job. 
He lied, period. He destroyed the trust, period. And then, he expected to be forgiven in two seconds, I felt so stressed out. 
But besides that, it was a pretty fun read.

Put me in detention follows Cora and Pike. Cora is celebrating her divorce-cation with her friends in Vegas. While celebrating she meets Pike at a bar that the friend group is in and she decided to go talk to him. She has fantasized about him ever since she met him when he started working at the same school as her brother. Their night turns way different than they thought it would..... they got married while drunk. Cora is not ready for another marriage and tries everything to get out of it but Pike wants to stay married. 

I really enjoyed reading this story. It got me to laugh, smile, swoon but also sometimes cringe (not in a bad way). I enjoyed how their relationship developed. They fit so well together so I'm really glad how this book turned out. If you enjoy smut, laughing while reading and just overall a great story, I recommend giving this one a try.
