The Buildup!

Over the course of the last two books, I have fallen in love with the dynamic Princess Verene must play as a representative of the Kingdom of Ardann. Throughout the last two books I found myself aligning suspicions with Verene, something I have never done. Her thought process became my thought process, her feelings were mine. Little did the book seem to stump me.

Until the end. The ending of this books seems highly suspicious. Everything you wanted out of the book seemed so right. The big bad was taken out of power, the suspicious ally was caught, the main character found love?! 

Seems too good to be true. Cannot wait to read the next book!
