An Instant Connection
Reviews

Mandy may not like her job as a temporary assistant in an architecture office but she knows it’s the only way to make enough money to go back to school. On a Friday night, after spending the whole day helping her awful boss prepare the office for the new famous architect that is going to start working there next week, she ends up leaving work later than usual. When she helps another woman catch the bus, she gets the attention of a man who is also at the bus stop. That man is Mitch and when he notices her, he cannot stop looking at her. And he doesn’t quit until he convinces her to have dinner with him. He’s new in town and moved there to start a new job. Dinner ends up prolonging to the rest of the weekend, but what will happen on Monday? I liked An Instant Connection even though I’m not a fan of instant connections because it worked here especially because he had to work to win her back. Eh. This one really wasn’t for me. I’m not sure how much of it was bc because of the story itself and how much was the narrators. The female narrator really didn’t work for me. The male narrator was ok, but not great. The story itself was a little too Insta-love and Mitch came off pretty creepy at times.
