Bones Don't Lie
Reviews

Just as attorney Morgan Dane and PI Lance Kruger think things are going well, the car owned by Lance's father turns up in a local lake with a human skeleton in the trunk, raising the issue of his father's disappearance 23 years before. Lance doesn't want to keep secrets from his mother, but he must let her know what is going on, even if it puts her mental health in jeopardy. The investigation raises questions that Lance can't answer, and he begins distancing himself from Morgan. However, she is not willing to let go of a relationship that has made her feel happy for the first time since the death of her husband.
Bones Don't Lie is an absorbing mystery with lots of clues and suspects, almost too many, muddying the waters of the investigation. It would have been nice to see more of Morgan and her girls, but Lance take center stage in this one. While the mystery is engrossing, the romance between Morgan and Lance takes a back seat, removing much of the emotion between the characters. Overall, Bones Don't Lie is a very good mystery with romantic elements at a minimum.

I love this series. Great mysteries with an easy flow and a story line woven between the books.
