What I've Done
Reviews

When the widow of Lincoln Sharp's ex-partner comes to him asking for help for her daughter, Haley, Sharp can hardly refuse. Haley woke up covered in blood and is accused of murder. Sharp hardly remembers Haley as a baby, but he still owes a debt that he insists on paying, so he asks for help from Morgan Dane and his new partner, Lance. Morgan agrees to help, but the case will be a challenge since nobody else but the victim was in the house where the murder occurred. Also, Morgan is suffering a from a concussion served up by her most recent client, making the case that much tougher.
What I've Done is another good mystery in the Morgan Dane series, but the outcome is much less interesting than the events that lead up to it. Many characters make an appearance that affects the story in one way or another. Also, elements from other cases add additional layers to the mystery. The romance between Lance and Morgan is a small part of the plot, making this novel barely romantic suspense. The mystery is somewhat predictable and the conclusion not all that satisfying, but overall, What I've Done is an entertaining read.

I’m invested in these characters and the entire story line.
