I stayed up way too late to finish reading this.
Yet another book I wished had been split into two volumes. There was just so much going on in this world that I feel like I missed out on. I wanted to know more about the world, about the characters, etc. This could have used a couple hundred more pages to develop the main characters and their relationships. I feel like only Vali's relationship to Axe was fully explored. Everything else felt rushed just to suit the category of reverse harem. I would have been happy just to read about Rigol and Axe's relationship with Vali instead of forcing other characters into the situation.
Otherwise, I enjoyed how the plot moved along. Definitely a world I'd like to see a little more from. I do feel like the author couldn't decide if they wanted to focus on the world's plot or the relationship so things felt a little scattered at times.
