3.5 ⭐️

Reading this book was really delightful, it was exceptionally well-written and enjoyable. While I found myself engrossed in its pages and its quick pace, I couldn't help but feel that the romantic aspect was rushed. The foundation of this being Damon's lifelong love for her giving « legitimacy » to their relationship, yet I craved more depth and development in their journey from friends to lovers. This highlights the real challenge of the best friends to lovers trope. However I must admit that they were undeniably meant for each other and adorable together.
One aspect that irks me was the Friendship Contract…Its purpose remained difficult to understand to me. It seemed really superfluous and failed to embody the essence of friendship, more of a relationship.
Nevertheless, the book's « drama » was captivating and kept me engaged, it was truly elite.
