The finale is pretty predictable, honestly. The boyfriend is the evil alien and must be defeated in order to save the Earth. But! Through magical girl magic, all are saved. Masaya returns to Earth and, in the end, they all get their happily ever after. For some reason, Kish is actually a nice person in this final volume as opposed to being a jerk like he was in the past six volumes. I can't remember why I liked him so much. (Probably his art style, actually.)
