you should watch your back if a person felt scorned, especially if that person has no intention to die peacefully and let things go.
who was mildred wells and why she's so angered? what is her story? why she's not like her son? what happened to her and why? this is the story of millie, hope you're ready for a hell of a ride!
vengeance is what usually restrain ghosts to go to the other side. and vengeance is what a certain person is so filled up.
the second installment of "the patience of a dead man" saga was brilliant, I would say. I have to be honest, it took me by surprise because I didn't fully imagine what I was headed into but it was far more entertaining than I expected.
I thought I loved the Mildred character in the first one but with the reading of the second book and the unfolding of all the things that needed explanation I was straight up in love with Millie. and that said love grew for the entire length of the book. she's a complex character and I'm entirely in love with her. it's bad businesses but I can't help myself.
the last bit caught me by surprise and I'm elated.
I'm gonna straight up read the third book!
