I watched the Jurassic Park movies when I was a kid and always heard the book was better and honestly I never intended to read it. The reason I even got interested in the book was seeing people talk about the "compy" scene in the prologue. The fact that the book leaned more in to horror drew me in and so when I saw it in a book store I bought it. I have to say I had a lot of fun with this book, I enjoyed the pace and the descriptions were good enough so that I could envision what was happening. There were a lot of tense moments and the characters struggles and their solutions to survive can be a blast to read about. Would 100% recommend to give the book a try.
