September 9 A.D., Armin, Thusnelda and their warriors wiped out Varus and his three Roman legions + supporting units in the Teutoburg Forest, altering the course of history! That resulted in Rome withdrawing all units from Germania and they never returned, other than to conduct some isolated raids and incursions.
