What a great book! It’s one I could not stop listening too. 🎧 Well narrated (Audible) and well written. Henrietta is pulled into the drama by a handsome detective and she investigates into the mysterious disappearance of a friend and the murder of her boss which somehow is connected. As an innocent, young, naive girl, she enters the world of old school mafia in Chicago. A world full of “deviant” behavior, prostitution and murder. Her life (and virtue) is put on the line with all the twist, turns and surprises of the plot. It’s also a well written love story. I can’t wait to read the serious.

**Trigger warning for adult content: prostitution, rape, trafficking and murder. Few usage of adult language (which was totaling useless).
