“I’m tired, Dark. I want to be at peace among trees.”

[4th read review] This series is integral to my being; while some grew up reading about wizards or vampires, I spent my time in ancient times surrounded by beautiful nature filled with dark magic. So maybe I’m a bit partial in my rating, but this time around I cried throughout probably 90% of this final book.

I’ve refrained from writing any reviews on the previous books but I have to say that this is a masterfully crafted finale in which the entire series comes full circle. It has one of my favourite types of endings; as it ties up loose ends and gives closure while also leaving the ending open. All in all I love the entire series but this book is one of my favourites.
