I started off actually enjoying this book but it went downhill from there. The character was just annoying, unlikable and completely unrealistic. I wasn't expect anything mind blowing from the novel but I expect so much more than this

I loved the idea of this book! The story follow Charlotte Kinder after her husband divorced her. She decides to go away on a vacation and after reading a slew of Jane Austen novels, she decides to visit "Austenland" : an all inclusive vacay with costumes, actors, scripted love interests, authentic cuisine....the whole nine yards. There was mystery, murder, romance, everything wrapped into one fun package. I loved the fact that you were always guessing what was "real" and what was "scripted". The only rock I could throw was the ending left me a little unsatified. Will definitely read this author again!

I loved the first Austenland and this one is a just successor. After a painful divorce, Charlotte attends a two-week vacation at Pembrook Park, an Austen role-plaing bed and breakfast. The other participants are welcoming yet strange, and a Northanger Abby-type gothic plot emerges with tales of ghosts in the manor. Fun book.

Cuando tu personaje favorito empieza siendo un personaje secundario y acaba convirtiéndose en el protagonista. This is the kind of content I'm rooting for! You go, Charlotte!
