Don Quixote, Part 2

Don Quixote, Part 2

Don Quixote believes he is a noble and brave knight. He has travelled the land, taking part in many adventures along the way. Most of these adventures have ended in disaster, and now Don Quixote is back where he belongs -- at home, with his niece and housekeeper to look after him. To his niece, Don Quixote seems content with his quiet life, but she can't see the thoughts and ideas formulating in his old and imaginative mind. One day, Don Quixote decides to hold a secret meeting with his squire, Sancho Panza, and soon they are back on the road again. What experiences does destiny have in store for them this time? What awful beasts and wicked enchanterers will they encounter along the way? Having followed Don Quixote through his madcap adventures in Part I of Campfire's graphic novel adaptation, join him again as he demonstrates his insanity to its full extent. This sequel to was published ten years after the original novel and while part one was mostly farcical, this second half is more serious and philosophical about the theme of deception. It explores the concept of a character understanding that he is written about, an idea much explored in the 20th century.
