Angelina nodded. She laid her cheek against Jagvi’s hair, felt the bunch of Jagvi’s muscles under her as Jagvi took steady strides up the mountain. “I really, really hope he’s home, Jag, ‘cause—the deal sucks.”

Okay, I might be a minority in this one but it just kind of absurd. So you tell me there's a demon targeting you and you have to keep having sex so it wont get you. (Can I even complain with the amount of smut when this is literally the premise?)

Also the fact this is 'fucking your sibling-ex' as well, maybe it's not really my cup of tea.. although the amount of family drama and relationship along with belonging subject in this is well quite adding the dynamic. 

But I'm not really sure about the depiction and story of the demon anyway, it's not quite make me shiver or feeling eerie, even I find it quite hilarious at first. Could I say it is become repetitive at certain point as well.

But the ending is quite okay though, I finally get the horror and body horror element, and the haunting feeling it left like you can sense that something is not fully right.

this book was so fucked up and thats exactly what i want in a queer horror. the imagery was insane, i found my jaw involuntarily dropping whilst reading certain parts of this. i loved it, there was a lot of smut which isnt my fav and i skipped but as a raging lesbian i would choose that over straight smut any day 😭 loved the relationship between jag & angel, it was complicated and queer and insane. the small town close knit family dynamic i absolutely ate up too, i luv a family drama. overall so damn good
