Phil Hartman was always one of my favorites on NL and the Simpsons. While I found his story compelling, I just didn’t like the writing in this book. It was interesting to learn about Phil’s career designing record albums and the development of his comedic career, and I was very saddened by the details of his tragic end. The book was well researched and very thorough, but it reads like a mediocre college paper.
