Brilliant start to what I hope will be a series! Charli is a real live Dr Doolittle or critter whisperer and is a newly fledged member of a covert association dealing with crimes involving shifters. She has a motley crew to work with including a panther shifter with OCD and a multi-shifter who has a big mouth and a brain that doesn't engage fast enough or often enough!!!! When the bear she rescued from some backwoodsmen somehow turns into a hot, sexy male she is left reeling. She christens him Barry, as he is suffering from amnesia and the poor man needs a name of some sort! He doesn't believe he has always been a shifter and sorely needs a crash course in Shifter 101!!!! With snipers, shifter criminals and a shadowy villain there is nothing to hate in this great book. Hotness reigns in the bedroom and snarky, witty dialogue between the team members are all so realistic. Rural Oregon has never looked more appealing!!!
