I love the authors paranormal work so I was pretty sure I'd enjoy this read and I wasn't disappointed. Lucky has always been lucky in life, just not in er LOVE life. After her last relationship imploded on television she has put work first. But returning home to organise her cousins wedding may be the kick in the butt she needs to ignite her love life again! She meets the lovely Jared, she feels an instant attraction to him and before she knows it, they are off in a dark corner of the property together and she is soon in heaven. But when she does a flit whilst he is asleep she never expects to meet him again...let alone at the wedding preparations! Jared is used to getting what he wants but his previous fiancee was a gold digging, model wannabe with murderous plans! But when Lucky runs out on him he feels quite bereft. When he sees her again he is determined to get her to change her mind. He wants more of Lucky and he is quite surprised at himself when he has thoughts of forever! OMG these two kept getting in their own way! But I did enjoy the secondary story of the plot against them by a malevolent pair! Jared wants to keep Lucky safe but Lucky doesn't want to uproot her life for a man again and it'll take more than pretty words to change her mind! Jazz almost steals the show with his antics and witty remarks. But I hope that Kay gets a HEA soon!
