I just love reading omegaverse in different settings, this one is high fantasy! Here omegas and alphas have magic, but alphas just can balance omegas, while omegas can actively wield magic.

(view spoiler)[The main protagonist Zara is omega whose designation was undetected for way too long. She is getting moved to Omega Sanctuary - the place where young omegas recieve their education. She is supposed to attend galas to find suitable alpha, but of course she manages to find a few men in ways that are completely unrelated to how things are usually done. I liked that she basically collected her pack herself instead of coming to already fully formed one (which is quite standard in RH omegaverse). There was also wonderful omega-omega relationship which I adore.  (hide spoiler)]

I wish there more (and longer) chapters with non-Zara POV, some ideas looked rushed, and I felt that talking about hormones was out of place in high-fantasy book, but overall it was 4.5* for me.

This went from mediocre to bad. There was a lot of potential but the writing just didn't follow through. Which is a shame. The characters were interesting but none of them had a unique voice and their relationship building with Zara was all over the place.
