Nicely written novella. It's sorta written backwards. Violet, the head librarian hires a prostitute to live out a fantasy. What she got was Candace Kane. Who for the rest of the book tries to woo Violet. Note: Candy Kane's name didn't phase me as strange. I went to school with a cheerleader who's real name was Candy Cotton! I recently reconnected with her and she turned out to be an intelligent, strong, politically opinionated woman. I wonder if her name helped her become such a strong person?
