The 'Girl, Missing' series is one of my favourite I've ever read, because it is SO gripping. I EXTREMELY adored the first book, I LOVED the second book, but I am between 'love' and 'like' scale for this book. Missing Me is a great book, however, I preferred Lauren as the protagonist over Madison, as Lauren is a more determined and has a more interesting and engaging personality. After reading the 'Girl, Missing' and 'Sister, Missing', I got used to the main characters - Lauren and Jam - so it was a bit of a jump to suddenly go to Madison's perspective. Despite that I loved Madison as a child, she has changed a lot in this book.

Also, the adventures experienced in the first 2 books were more interesting and meaningful (e.g. a kidnap in the family and the search for the parents), but the idea of searching for someone's donor dad is meaningless as there isn't really any point. The problems weren't as big, either, because this one was to do with surrogacy, instead of running away from getting killed. The first 2 books were so gripping too and I literally could not put it down, even though 'Missing Me' was too, it was less fast-moving. However, I still gave this book 4.5 stars and Sophie makes her books SO interesting and gripping which I cannot physically put it down!!!!
