4.25/5 Another emotional rollercoaster! This book was like if Law and Order SVU and Boy Meets World had a love-child. Those are 2 of my favorite shows, so of course I enjoyed this book! Another hospital setting (partially), which I love. Another strong and broken woman, which I love. And this one had a surprisingly happy ending - weird for Lucinda Berry, but also something I was so hoping for. As all Berry books do, this touches on some difficult topics, but that's the beauty of reading psychological fiction written by a former Clinical Psychologist. You want to believe these situations don't happen, but they do, and Lucinda Berry puts them right up in your face using beautifully written plots and characters.
