THIS. This was by far my favorite novel in this series so far (what is it with the sweet spot that third books in a great series always finds?) But I should have expected the unexpected which is my favorite characters are going to get the short end of the stick in the worst way. This is the closest I have come to feeling panic for a character's fate, so much so that I had to talk myself out of spoiling myself.

No one is who you think they are. Trust know one. Doubt everything and rethink who your heroes and villains are. (And it still won't prepare you for the twists and turns this one if going to take.) I'm glad that some of the side characters are getting to shine.

The first half made my heart physically hurt like idk if I was about to have a heart attack or if that’s just me but ouch.
