to say that I still feel betrayed would be an understatement but the development in hualian's relationship is just ugh immaculate

I'm crying here, because I'm still not over what happened last novel and if you were hoping for answers, well....that's a mixed bag. You know how this goes by now if you made it this far. More answers just create more questions.

Any novel that focuses on the ghosts cannot do wrong in my eyes because they are just so entertaining. MXTX proves once again that there is no such thing as wasted characters as old characters reappear and less explored characters get a backstory. Ling Wen finally gets some recognition and though I still think he's a meat head, General Pei is entertaining if nothing else. But Rain Master is the real MVP. 

My only gripe as someone who has had the honor of reading the web content is that they could have chosen to leave a much more compelling cliff hanger to stop at if they had gone on for just one more chapter, but, considering how long it takes to release a new book it would have also been diabolical.
