** spoiler alert **
           Ohhhhkay this was everything I hate about romcoms rolled into one. 

-small miscommunications that cause big problems 
-overly sensitive heroine who takes any excuse to run away 
-lying and hurting one another to “protect” each other 
-OM/OW drama 
-a big time jump at the end where they aren’t together for months and then reunite in the last second, not having actually fixed anything but deciding not to care 


And to top it all off I didn’t even want them to be together at the end. Also it was too long. Sigh. Monica James is a good writer. I just didn’t have a good time with this.
