This read has been a long time coming. I have taken forever to read this series and I feel so accomplished to have finally read this book but I have to remember that I have another book to go. So Carolina’s character has always been an interesting one and to see her character play out in the book was just as interesting. I’m still not sure how I feel about her sudden development towards the end of the book. West was done a little bit better but he obviously has this caveman aspect that outweighed some parts of Carolina’s character in areas. But I did like West and Carolina’s relationship or more like the start of it. These books obviously have a high school setting for all or a good part of the book so there is a level of dramatics in the book that did make me cringe and eye roll in it. So you may need to try to look past it but that is something that I have experienced in most of the books I have read that is in a high school setting.
