really enjoyed it, felt like the end was a bit slow and then the epilogue was rushed 😭

I absolutely devoured this book! You know how in some books, one of the characters is emotionally stunted and closed off, and you find out their reasoning for being the way they are and it’s so…underwhelming? This book was NOT like that. The FMC Cassie is a matchmaker and completely opposed to dating because of her horrible family background. Her parents neglected her and gave her no reason to believe people could be… good. Enter Luke MF Dawson. A handsome, sweetheart mechanic and mama’s boy (not in a red flag kinda way.) he is patient but also head over heels for Cassie from the moment they meet. I loved this story, loved the characters. Morgan Elizabeth is one of my favs!!

When I tell you I was reading this book and full on sobbing not even 100 pages in. Sobbing. Luke is just the SWEETEST. I just can't. The world needs more Lukes. For the love of Jesus, I hope whoever is up there reads this. Also the part with Cassie's family dynamic really hit me, it's good to see this kind of representation in books, gives me hope that things will get better. That's all. That's my review.

DNF at 77%...just could not make myself sit through the whining and repetition. Her dad was mean to her because why? So weird.

If I could give this more stars I would. I think I’ve found my new favorite contemporary romance book😍 I related SO much to Cassie and the way she felt about herself and spoke to herself. Luke is this hot, sunshine man who just wants to desperately show her that she is all woman and a hell of a woman at that. He cares for her mind and her body, stands up to her asshole parents, and has a filthy mouth.🥵 Easily my new favorite book boyfriend. Tanner and Jordan make a brief appearance in this book too, which was a nice surprise.
