Tourist Trap

Claire: A summer in a tourist trap is exactly what I need. A single summer of fun before I finally buckle down and decide on what I want to do with the rest of my life. So when my best friend suggested I spend the summer as a lifeguard in Seaside Point I jumped at the opportunity. I was ready for a summer of uncomplicated fun, so imagine my surprise when my ex’s older brother owns the house I want to rent a room in. Not only is Miles the guy I used to have the biggest crush on, he refuses to give me the time of day. Miles: I have enough on my plate trying to save up what I need to buy my brother out of the house we inherited by the end of the summer. I definitely don’t need the distraction of my brother’s gorgeous ex prancing around my house. But for some reason I still can’t understand, I agreed to let her rent a room and now she’s prancing around in her little bathing suits, flirting with me endlessly, and making me a summer bucket list because she thinks I can’t have fun. I don’t mess with tourists, and I surely don’t mess with my brother’s exes, but just like the moon and its effect on tides, I can’t escape her pull on me. Will I be able to survive this summer with her, or will I get distracted and lose it all?
