Paranormal cosy crime are something that I enjoy, especially in October, as it feels very fitting! Our heroine (Pepper, to her friends) has to go home to live with her aunts as she isn't making enough money out in the world, and that feels like something more people would relate to these days. We have her struggles to fit in, and to get to know, and trust, her three aunts. There is, of course, a man she likes the look of but doesn't like his arrogance in thinking all women are throwing themselves at him (spoiler, they all are, and I expect it's something supernatural to be revealed in a later book) There were some reveals along the way, some I liked, and some I didn't, but all in all, it was a good cosy crime, I just don't expect to read any more in the series.
