I liked the premise of the book. The idea of the slow decent of paranoia and how it grips a person. But I found the story lacking in much else. It lined up many interesting avenues but they weren't often explored and truthfully, I was super disappointed with the ending.

Mrs. March was an odd one, both the book and the person. At first, the book was kind of boring. Pretty soon, I was irritated because it seemed like Feito was trying to imitate Mrs. Dalloway, and what kind of overconfident author tries to imitate Virginia Woolf's most famous book in a debut novel? Then it became rather uncomfortable, then unsettling, then eventually completely disturbing. I don't know that I would recommend it, but it was an interesting experience to read it.

Un thriller psicológico sorprendente, me encantó mucho la manera en como esta narrado y el final para mí fue lo mejor PERO se quedaron muchos cabos sueltos e incluso hubo algunos capítulos algo aburridos pero en general estuvo bien. Creo que este libro es perfecto para leerlo en conjunto tiene muchas cosas para comentar y tener diversas opiniones. 

La mente es muy poderosa.

much to think about, especially with regards to the tradition of women who hallucinate. many people have compared it to Shirley Jackson and Daphne du Maurier, but I would perhaps say it aspires to be more Gone Girl/The Girl on the Train rather than a true gothic horror. 

the book at times feels almost too focused on translating literal action into a visual medium, almost as if the author is forcing us to imagine it as a film - in some cases it works well, but in this case it ends up being too unfocused and cartoonish, especially towards the ending.

I enjoyed trying to figure out what the inciting incident was. Motherhood? Her husband wring her into his novel as a “whore?” Or that that “whore” was unattractive? Certainly violence lived within her for a long time, but what is the tipping point? Maybe she feels she’s being forced to change her carefully curated identity, an identity built around someone else. Maybe violence is how she finds herself.
