It's Jeeves and Bertie (mostly), so it's going to be pretty good no matter what. The plot and writing aren't as good as his later stuff, and the Reggie stories didn't do it for me at all.

The first Jeeves collection, including several stories told by a proto-Wooster called "Reggie Pepper". PG's prose is slightly less glowing and divine at this early juncture, but it still makes me smile on every fourth page.

A fun little read! A series of short stories featuring a man servant Jeeves. Jeeves has idea of getting his employer out of jams but in actuality leads to u foreseen disasters. He has to form even more diabolical plans. Slapstick humor. I did find myself laughing out loud in some points.

3.5 - Audiobook read by Simon Prebble. The Jeeves stories are great but I wasn't a great fan of the Reggie Pepper stories and unfortunately there were quite a few in here. The stories definitely all follow a formula but they still have individual moments of humor and cleverness. A few of the people Bertie helps (namely Rocky in "The Aunt and the Sluggard") are awfully selfish and whinging but I suppose that's all part of the fun.
