Like reading the rambling diary of a judgmental person stuck in their own little bubble. I did however get 2 good quotes out of this book: 

p 41-21: There is a school of American thought that suggests we are supposed to live furiously and foolishly when young, slave away pointlessly when adults, and then coast into low-impact activity as soon as financially possible. … The truth is that a life well lived is always lived on a rising scale of difficulty. 

p 96: But humans are not intended for data storage (though we have that capacity). We are intended for living, for moving through a story.
