This is my first time reading from this author and I was a bit confused. Well it seems like this book is interconnected within her other books. I gave it 3.75 stars because it felt like I was jumping around and skipping days within the story. The plot was good and the was able to understand some of what went on within the books before this or I can give my best guess. There was of course sexual tension between Emma and Bridge because they have had a "crush: on each other since they were little but Bridge made a promise to Emma's brother Toby before he died that he would look after Emma, and Bridge took that promise seriously. The London Lords consists of 4 best friends that are seeking the revenge for the death of their buddy Toby. They have taken down 2 that were responsible and now it is time to take down the final person, yet Emma wants in on the revenge since is was her brother that died. I don't want to give away too much but I would recommend that you read the beginning of the "series" before you start the Bridge series.

I Love me some Nana Malone deliciousness and she does not disappoint with this brand new enemies-lovers, best-friends-sibling and a fake marriage thrown in for good luck!  

Emma is made of stern stuff, returning to London after her brothers murder and she has a hotline in vengeance keeping her going.  His friends have her back but one of them would love nothing more than to have all of her! 

Bridge is...well, Bridge.  He's got money, class and a low boredom threshold.  Emma is sarky, witty and the bacne of his existence LOL.  But once she cracked that shell of his - holy moly!

This would probably be best read after reading the interconnecting series as that lays the back story for this series but it can be read as a stand-alone.  Watch out for the cliffhanger!
