Sam and his brother had a rocky relationship, especially after Joe married Sam's high school sweetheart, Julia. After Joe's boat blows up, killing Joe and leaving Julia missing huge chunks of her memory, Sam sets out to find out the truth behind the murder. 
 This book had what felt like a slow start, but it got super twisty and turn-y. Everybody is suspicious, even the friggin dogs. I had to set aside the rest of my life and responsibilities to finish this and figure out what in the world happened. And then when I did finish, I almost threw the book across the room because it created more questions than it answered. 
 It was awesome.
