An interesting premise. But as translations go it's hard to come to a definite conclusion of how well-written it is, in a stylistic sense. I thought this book tried to infuse a sense of realism by first and foremost projecting a virtually impossible situation into average lives, so I found it hard to shrug off the feeling of pragmatism even in the writing itself (though if the purpose of the author was such then he has succeeded).
