The story itself was fast paced and easy enough to get through. I read it in a few hours. It was interesting enough to actually finish, which is saying something, considering this genre typically isn’t my thing. 
The entire book, however, was problematic. Aside from the ending being predictable, the book was littered with plot holes, as well as being blatantly incorrect in several sections, simply because the author wasn’t thinking. Piper is sixteen in the beginning of the book, then is suddenly seventeen, then sixteen, then seventeen. The dates change drastically several times as well, all while the entirety of the book is supposed to span no longer than 6 weeks. It’s July 25 at one point. A couple of chapters later, it’s June. Then it’s August 5. 
That’s what is the most infuriating to me. These mistakes are simple. So simple in fact, that had the author re read her work even once before publishing it (or paid a proofreader *gasp*), there would be virtually nothing to complain about here. It’s clear this author didn’t even bother to read her own story past the point of writing it. It looks cheap and lazy. Like the author’s only concern is making a quick buck, rather than actually telling a story worth reading.

           YES. I finally guessed a plot twist for one of her books. That ending felt kind of rushed, though... I wish there was more to it. I think I would have enjoyed this book a lot more if I didn't know that none of her books has happy endings. ALSO, why did Evan KILL THE FOUR OF THEM SO ABRUPTLY?!?!?! Pretty solid book, but nothing special.

Someone here said that the only thing dumber than the characters is the ending and this is the only thing you need to know. Unfortunately for me bad YA thrillers is my kind of poison so here I am. 
Still not as bad of an ending as PLL (the tv show), though, just for scale.

           IM SO FUCKING MAD. she just goes with them ???? is she fucking crazy. OH MY GOD YALL DONT UNDERSTANd HOW MAD I AM. i was literally screaming at the top of my lungs while reading this. oh my word 10/10 would totally recommend but God fuck you piper.
