I read other books by Nastasha Preston and this one felt off. The book had a good story line but I feel it wasn't executed that well. I had a suspicion who the killer was about halfway through. Overall, I enjoyed the story. The ending was slightly disappointing though. If there is another book coming after this one, I would be okay with the ending but as far as I know, there isn't.

After reading The Cabin and The Cellar I was pretty excited to get my hands on this. While I definitely enjoyed The Cabin the most, this one wasn't too bad. There was a couple times I felt myself losing interest in the book but I kept pushing through to the end.

This book is about Lylah and her group of friends that before going out for the night discover a letter left at their doorstep. Blowing it off as a prank, the group decide to go out and have some fun and Lylah hopes that getting closer to her best friend Chase might make them turn into something more. But when someone starts killing off their friends one by one they realize the letters they're receiving aren't a prank and someone is after them.

The ending was kind of odd to me because it's definitely not who you would imagine it to be but I also think it wasn't very realistic. How the killer managed not to ever get caught by the murders or leaving the notes behind kind of baffled me and when the killer got revealed and they discovered why they were killing off the friends, I pretty much lost all interest. Only giving this book 4 stars because it was a good read until the ending. Go figure.

I couldn't put this book down because I just had to keep reading to see who the killer was. 
This books had me on the edge of my seat.
