This book was made from a selection of the best papers submitted to the 11th International Conference on Videogame Sciences and Arts, which was held at the University of Aveiro, in November 2019. In it we can find papers on game design theory, game studies, eSports and even board games making of the book a multidisciplinar work interesting for people working broadest approaches to games.

Personally, I can say it was a pleasure to edit the book, because I've learned lots of new things, mainly new perspectives and approaches to the research on games. And this is what these books are made for.
