I would give this three and a half stars if I could. It's very well-written, especially in the spectrum of celebrity biography. His intelligence and humour are in full display, without a doubt. It is prone to frequent flights of fancy and is routinely self-indulgent, but not in an annoying or eye roll-inducing way. There is some very good insight into the motivations behind some of his work and he does give the occasional peek behind the curtain of celebrity -- although he is very cautious and prudent in that regard. He never reveals too much, not wanting to dabble in the tawdry or salacious. Very tasteful. 

All told I think this book made me appreciate Pegg and his work more. It's comforting to know that some celebrities are really just like the rest of us; he's excitable about movies and TV and translates his passion for "nerd stuff" into something he wants to see. It's admirable and relatable.

Super quick read/listen, which is always good. I am not extremely familiar with much of Pegg’s work or I’m sure I would’ve enjoyed it even more. At times I found myself guffawing out loud as he vacillated between non-fiction and his fantastic spy adventure story starring himself, his robot butler Canterbury, the Red Panther, and Lord Black. Thoroughly enjoyable book and I will absolutely be searching out some of his work despite my overwhelming hatred of everything even related to the genre of horror.
