This book isn’t my favorite in this series so far. It took me a while before I understood the male main character. I think because it is hard to relate to him it wasn’t easy to see the relationship between the characters. I still loved the writing and once I figured out his socopathic tendenties I could apriciate the authors character description.

at least they met before the arranged marriage

Salvatore daddied so hard 🤤

3.5/5 ⭐️ salvatore mi rey 🛐🛐🛐

Milene and Salvatore were super cute together the swooning was amazing. I feel Iike this is what I wanted the reaper to be. Because the mmc were similar but because I actually got to know and love the mmc I connected with him and got invested in him and ergo the story. Love, love, loved. I love an emotionally Damaged and unavailable man😩

Something about this book just worked for me… it’s probably not a 5 ⭐️ book, but it made me feel so giddy! I wish it was longer since it was too fast paced but I love Milene and Salvatore.. was his possessiveness and obsession a red flag? Absolutely. But red is my favorite color 🤩🤩

The stalker trope is always a bit iffy and unnerving but in this case it was funny haha He developed an addiction and then casually got rid of every possible guy that could ever look at her. What an effective way of eliminating the competition💀😂
His controlling in the middle was a little too sudden and too harsh because he was such a gentleman earlier but as long as she's okay with I have no complains haha His protectiveness was hot
I don't really know when exactly or why but I suddenly lost interest around 60%. Thankfully, the drama started and it took me right back in.
The series had no skips so far so I'm not surprised I loved this one as well.

Stolen Touches is the fifth installment in the "Perfectly Imperfect" series. This continues on with this wonderful series, and we got hints of this one in the previous book, so I was definitely eager to pick this one up here. I will say that while Stolen Touches wasn't my favorite of the series, I definitely had a blast with these two and Neva Altaj definitely delivered a solid story with this one.
In Stolen Touches, we have our heroine, Milene, who is a nurse and working at a hospital in New York City. She is also part of the mafia family, but its not something she has ever wanted to be a part of. So she leaves her family and runs to New York and is hiding, not expecting the Don of La Cosa Nostra to find her, but when she draws his eye when she delivers a baby, he discovers who she is and finds himself fascinated by her and wants her and when he realizes who she is, he knows his perfect play to keep her in his life. Milene is then forced into an arranged marriage with Salvatore, and while its tense at first, Milene knows this is her life now and endeavors to embrace this new life with Sal, but she never expected to fall so hard for this dangerous man....
Stolen Touches is such a intense read and it does feature some disability rep here with the hero having sociopath tendencies, and we see in this story how its something he has always had since he was a child in certain ways. I really loved this dynamic in many ways. The interactions between Sal and Milene were so fun and I really had a blast seeing them work through their issues. There is quite a bit of alpha behavior, which I was all for on this one here. I also really enjoyed seeing how Milene learns to adapt to a different way of life than she originally planned on. I also love it when the heroine is protective of the hero, and love seeing how she reacts when he gets hurts, its pretty awesome.
I think the only issue that I had though was the heroine forcing the hero to have pets, I am not for this at all, it just rubbed me the wrong way to be honest. But I am also not a big pet person, so if I was forced to have pets, yeah I would struggle. So I didn't really enjoy that element of the story. But everything else just delivered for me!
Overall I found Stolen Touches to be a brilliant addition to a great series that I can't seem to get enough of!

idk how but the men get more obsessed with every book its hilarious

Highlights

“Vita mia,” he whispers. “Please. Get down.”
Another bullet ricochets off the floor to our right, and I press myself more tightly to him. His body is shaking as though he has a fever.
“I love you, Tore,” I say into his ear.
“Milene.” His eyes are red. “I’m going to bite you. With all my strength.” The gunfire still rages, but I hear now how his voice trembles. “It’s going to hurt, Milene. Very much. Get. Off. Me.”
I smile. “Be my guest. I’m not moving.”
Bullets hit something over our heads and part of the metal construction comes crashing down behind us, sending dust and shards of debris into the air. Salvatore’s breathing becomes erratic, his chest rising and falling at a maddening speed. As I watch, a tear rolls down his cheek.
“Please,”he whispers.

Salvatore places his left hand at the edge of the table and tilts his head, regarding me in silence. Is he considering my proposition? Oh God, please make him say yes.
The table between us suddenly flies to the side, knocking me backward in my chair. Dishes and cutlery crash onto the cobbled ground. Pieces of food and broken glass scatter everywhere within a five-foot radius. I stare at my husband with wide eyes as he gets up and takes two casual steps until he’s standing right in front of me.
Leaning back in my chair, I tilt my head up. “That would mean no, I assume?”
he needs some anger management therapy😂

“That nod . Because it looked like you were giving the waiter permission to address me.”
“And what’s wrong with that?”
“Are you for real?”
“He’s not from the Family, Milene. Therefore, he is not permitted to look at my wife unless I allow him to.”
I have no comeback to that, so I just stare at him.
That doesn't sound endforceable in the normal world lol and it's a bit too much💀

“Why keep the cat if he’s got issues?”
“He kind of moved in without asking. I couldn’t throw him out.”
She's gonna give him ideas if she says stuff like this haha
