This is a pretty cool book. This is actually the first book I've read that's straight up fiction centered on trans women in a realistic way that doesn't a) romanticize or b) fetishize.

Well, I did enjoy the book. The style of writing is very different from a regular novel, that's for sure, so it's probably one of those books that some people can't stand or actually really love. I'm somewhere in the middle; I liked reading about what it's like to be transgender and all of the main character's monologues about society and gender and stuff. I do recommend this book but just beware that it's not a typically-written novel, that's all!
