Alexandra Brackens strikes again! Its didn't even take 20 pages for her to not only catch my attention but pull at my heart strings. The Darkest minds was a wonderful read but Never Fade took the series to a new level and left me not just wanting but needing to know what is in store for Ruby. cant wait to get the next book!

3.75* I surprisingly enjoyed this one. I have to say I enjoyed the second part more than the first, but it was overall an enjoyable book. I wasn't too sold on the romance, though. (view spoiler)[WHY JUDE? WHY. AND WHY THE FUCK IS CLANCY FUCKING GRAY STILL ALIVE. WHY?! (hide spoiler)]

REREAD (1/28/2018): i began rereading on a whim and forgot how much i missed the everyone *SOBS* having originally read it four years ago(!!!!), i forgot everything except: 1) what ruby did to liam at the end of tdm 2) Spoilerliam remembering ruby and 3) jude's death. and rereading it made me realize i probably like Never Fade best out the three books. there's was the perfect amount of action, character development, and suspense. it was the sequel you always want but never get. IT'S SO GREAT. if you haven't read MY FAVORITE TRILOGY EVER go read it now pls :))))

3.5 Stars. i loved the Darkest Minds but i had the same problems with this book as i did with the Darkest Minds. I found huge chunks of the book boring. alot of the scenes where they are travelling are just drawn out. I did love the action scenes in this book and i do adore Ruby and Liam and i love where the story is going so, i'm very excited the read the next book.

WoooW! That was amazing! What I most loved abt it was how Rubys character, her inner dilemmas and her trying to stay herself with her growing powers were written. The plot was great and the ending once again was shocking and cant wait to see what happens next...

I would say this book is one of my favourites. It has an amazing vibe and amazing characters. I loved the ending, yet, I hated it so much. I love the characters of Jude and Vida, and the character development from Ruby and Liam. Speaking of them, I definitely wasn't expecting what happened, and I read that one scene all the time. I loved the plot, and all the complications of it. I did cry a lot, so beware of that. But overall, it is amazing and I would recommend it to anyone who likes YA dystopia, badass characters, and found family trope.

Where to start? Let’s start with Ruby. As I have said in my Review of the first book, I like Ruby. Everything she does is totally understandable and her evolution is realistic. Her personality gets harder – at least she tries to in order to survive – but she’s no adult. The world she is living in is a dangerous one and she is no killer. So she doubts herself. So she breaks sometimes a little. Another thing I really like (more like love) is how her world doesn’t revolve around Liam. Of course she misses him and she does think of him but only sometimes. I was prepared for her whole days to be like “Liam, Liam, Liam”, you know? Luckily I prepaired in vain. I am a sucker for a happy ending but I want it to be realistic. The characters have to work through the drama, no magical solutions and two minutes later everything is fine. Alexandra Bracken doesn’t go the easy way, her characters have to suffer and I love it.

“I don't want to just see someone's face; I want to know his shadow too.” -Jude • Man oh man, where do I start!! This book killed me, like actually killed me! I wanted to soak in every page taking my time to savor it but I also really wanted to know what happened next. This book captivated me, I really encourage you to pick up book one so you can read this one! This series is definitely going on my favorites list! • This is the second book to The Darkest Minds, it closely follows the events of the last book bringing together some familiar faces and some new faces! I can’t say any more but goodness it’s so good!

Another heart breaking ending!! SO MANY FEELINGS WITH THIS BOOK! I just can't! I can't express how much I love ALL of these characters so much!! This one did take me like a good like 70 pages to get into because there was so much going on, so much information and new characters. But I grew to LOVE the new characters especially Cole, Jude, and Vida!! So much love for everyone in this book! The character development was incredible. Ruby became so STRONG and kick ass! So proud! She has come so far!! All of the reunions and the heartbreak and Liam and Ruby and Chubs...IM SO EMOTIONAL. It was action packed, intense, heart wrenching, and was filled with so many heart stopping PLOT TWISTS! So amazed I just have so many emotions right now...just AHH! I NEED IN THE AFTER LIGHT RIGHT NOW!!!!
