Nicholas Sparks is the only man allowed to make me cry. The book was super slow at first and was pretty predictable so I don’t feel justified giving it 5 stars but damn I cannot stop uncontrollably sobbing. This book hit hard.

This book tells such an adorable and sad story. Not only did it feel kind of nostalgic to read a Nicholas Sparks boon again since his books been my teen years. BUT the story itself was beautiful. Just like all of his other stories it was a sad one too. I caught myself smiling and almost tearing up as well. I kind of predicted the ending but still loved every word of it.

Mom.

In my opinion, one of his best novels he's ever written. The story telling is both beautiful and heart wrenching. I can say that I was genuinely surprised by the big reveal.
