There's a lot of things in here that I've said for years and some points where she's missing pretty obvious ways that women work and share in various duties. I've enjoyed Neylan's work on The Mormon Women Project and think this is a fantastic book that should be read by both men and women alike. There's a lot of empowerment to women already in current doctrine, we just need to be willing to reach out and snatch it. This explores doctrine in the status quo, almost from page one taking ordination off the table. I think is a positive route mainly because people seem to fear the topic so much, either because of the change it represents or the recrimination such talk brings out in others. If we want more, we need to accept and live up to what we already have available to us and encourage others to do as such themselves.

I've loaned this book to my Relief Society President and I plan to inform my Bishop the many reasons he needs to read this book as well. :)
