I remember reading it, I remember what image it left in my mind but don't remember what it was about so yeah

i just figured that i need to read this first before At First Sight. and unfortunately, i reversed the order. i'm feeling somewhat weird. reading the after then the before. xD ---- And again, the story of Jeremy-Lexie doesn't satisfy me just like At First Sight. True Believer tells the story of New York columnist, Jeremy Marsh, who is quite popular for revealing mysteries and some sort. One day he got a letter from Doris. She wants Jeremy to explain the mystery of a mysterious light coming out in cemetery around midnight, which people think as ghost. This letter brought Jeremy to a small town with the name of Boone Creek. To make long story short, there he met Lexie Darnell (Doris's granddaughter and works as a librarian at the Boone Creek library). Jeremy needs help to do research regarding the mystery of the cemetery, so he go to the library. Well, I don't want to say more about the plot because I'm not so happy with it. My impression while and after reading this book is that the characters' personality are not my favorites. Because of their -especially Lexie- personality, the story is not really entertaining. Lexie's uncertainty about their relationship makes everything weird and uncertain (it makes me angry and annoyed). the good thing about this book is Jeremy's dimple. :):) and the fact that I know Nicholas Sparks develop the story based on the characters responds toward the circumstances they are in. Not my favorite out of all Nicholas Sparks' books, but okay and readable.

One of my favorite Sparks stories.

“One day you're going to learn something that can't be explained with science. And when that happens, your life's going to change in ways you can't imagine.” I really liked this one! It wasn't as good as The Lucky One, The Last Song or The Best of Me but I enjoyed it as much as A Walk to Remember. I will be picking up the sequel At First Sight in the summer.

City boy meets small town girl ❤ New York City science journalist, and born skeptic Jeremy Marsh travels to Boone Creek, North Carolina to debunk stories about ghost sightings in the local cemetery. But instead he meets local librarian, Lexie Darnell. She is different than any other girl he has ever met before, but could they possibly have a future when they live two seperate lives?
