It’s kinda all over the place

It was okay but I feel there could’ve been more to the plot.

Had to take so many breaks from this book.
The main character is deemed to be completely helpless. Everything she does is quickly over powered by another man. This could have been a good book if it was not for how quick pace it was and the lack of detail through out the story. Everything happened so quickly, no build up at all. It just made no sense to me.

“I should push him away. A good person would. A good person wouldn’t have let him kiss them in the first place.” It should be illegal how much I enjoyed this book! I believe it was free for a while on Amazon when I got it? It was one of those books that I just see currently free and quickly check on the tropes and if it's something I'd be interested in reading, I'd get it for later. So, I pretty much went in blind when I started reading it. Tessa Emmerson is a nurse in the prison, her abusive husband is the warden of. Then a new prisoner arrives - Gracin Kingsley - and he shakes her world and makes her want more. Drawing by drawing and encounter by encounter make her fall for him. And eventually -- help him get out. In short: ✔ nurse/criminal romance ✔ dark ✔ forbidden ✔ alpha-hero / ᴛᴡ: ᴅᴏᴍᴇꜱᴛɪᴄ ᴀʙᴜꜱᴇ, ᴍɪꜱᴄᴀʀʀɪᴀɢᴇ / 𝟒.𝟓 / 𝟓 stars. 𝟑 / 𝟑 hotness.
