Wait. This was wayyyy better then I thought it would be. I think Jenn could be a favourite author of mine. I’m gonna have to buy some more other books to find out, but the two I have read were 4 and 5 stars respectively so it’s not a bad start

more of a 3.5 rating, I really liked the romance overall and thought that was well done, and I liked the m/m side rep, but I had a few issues about kind of problematic aspects with the characters. Full review to come.

This surprised me in such a brilliant way. I think I was half expecting just a typical YA romance (which I of course still love) but this was that and so much more. There was a depth to the story that I wasn't expecting at all and it was just unexpected but heart warming at the same time. I loved the characters and the way this was written. I ended up reading it one sitting, I couldn't put it down. I hope Jenn Bennett writes more YA in the future because I will definitely be reading it.
