I really enjoyed the coronation and the battles, and I’ve grown to care about this lil magical crew! I thought this would be three stars for me, but I really disliked the SA & sadism subplot with Leo.

This series is a great action packed urban fantasy with a main character that has grown and developed through each book. Night Vision sees Cicely really coming into her own and learning who she is and what destiny/responsibility lies ahead of her. As you read the book you can feel the tension mount and as things in this book resolve there is a great set up for the next book. I love the world and the characters. Both are complex and emotional. All around great read for urban fantasy fans!
