Didn’t think much of this one tbh, was rather disappointed

It's near impossible to ignore my vampire neighbor, Bran Duval, when he has a habit of shucking off his clothes while the blinds are up. He's playing games with me, but I don't mind a challenge.

Only problem is, I'm supposed to pledge myself to a rival vampire family and now all I can think about is Bran Duval, black sheep of the Duval vampire family, and the wicked things he's promising to do to me in the dark.

Season One

So I'm gonna be honest: Not my usual genre. I picked it up because I wanted to read, needed an audio format, and the name is... very good.

That being said, I enjoyed it a lot more than I thought I would. And I was 

I really like the concepts behind the world and the "twist" was obvious but I found myself more invested in the 

 it was anyways. It got to the point I was invested enough we were almost at the end and I was losing it because how dare the main characters have sex at a time like this XD

This was a perfect companion for my six hour car ride and I'm excited to continue. I really feel the audiobook added to my enjoyment, too.

Secrets are starting to come out about my past and the only thing that feels real anymore is my annoyingly hot vampire neighbor, Bran Duval.He made me a promise to help me uncover my past, but I didn't know those promises included the heat of his touch. Bran and I don't always see eye to eye, but when we're alone together in the dark, everything feels right, even if some of the things he does to me might be so very bad.As my Pledge draws nearer, and more secrets come out, I can't help but wonder: who am I? Or better yet, what am I?

Season Two

I just like the two love interests in this one a lot.

I read all three full seasons so far and I loveeee the series!! Suspenseful, romantic, and steamy. Sped through it all quickly.

Just finished this series (season). This is book #63 of my 160 book reading goal. Honestly, not sure I’m going to reach that goal by the end of the year lol.

Just like I said before, I judge a book by its cover, but I also judge a book by its title. I almost ALMOST didn't read this book, and that would have been a tragedy lol. This is the second series I have read from Nikki, and I am addicted to her writing.

This book has everything and I mean everything I love in a book. This isn't your average vampire book, it is so much more! Jessie lives in the town of Midnight, which is a paranormal town. There are witches, vampires, wolf shifters, Fae, and of course humans. On each person's 21st birthday, they have to pledge to one of the houses. Jessie thought she would leave Midnight behind before her 21st, but her hot neighbor has thrown a wrench in her plans. Jessie won't be leaving Midnight at all.

This book is fast-paced, action-packed, and filled with plenty of spicy scenes *fans self*. I am not sure when the next season (yes, season. it's a Kindle Vella) will be released, but I will impatiently wait. I binged the shit out of this book, and I am regretting it now lol. I am not known for my patience. If you're looking for your next vampire read you found it!

Nikkis writing and characters always find a way to grab me by the throat. They're so gritty, yet simple, so fun and sexy. This is very True Blood but younger and just as fun.

When I picked this book up I didn’t realize it was part of the new amazon thingy, don’t really remember what it was called but from what I read of the first few chapters it had immediately pulled me into the story.
